The Wedding (Part 1)

my cousin finally has a wife!
they have been together for 7 yrs.. i think i kinda took it for granted tht they r going to be together for life..

i didnt find it a chore to wake up so early.. and when i mean early.. i mean 7.30am.. i know what u're thinking really.. some insane old grannys actually get up way earlier say.. 5.30am on a weekday.. scream at e top of their lungs..for their maids to hurry on and prepare breakfast for her sch-going grandchildren only known to me as "Jonathan ah! si nang kia..better come down and eat!!" and mind u, poor "jonanthan (aka si nang kia)" actually sleeps way past midnight finishing up his pirated branded sch maths EOY exam paper.

ok i deviated. i know.. but coming back to e wedding.. i had e honour of biondi come over to follow me to church. because i was going to sing church hymns!!! e songs were a tad too monotous and non-joyous to me tho..i was actually thinking of singing a song by renee olstead. its more romantic i reckon..no chance for tht tho..

well, as time went on.. e whole wedding ceremony started.. my cousin in-law walked down e aisle to e song "secret garden" by bruce springteen..e moment was so surreal.. i feel a little of my tears coming out..n i dont know why i get so emo.. esp when i was still thinking abt my cousin not sponsoring my dress.. but i guess i wasnt so hard-hearted.. i really feel so genuinely happy for them..

i have to admit i was feeling nervous.. i sang my church hymns to a crowd made out mostly of relatives and little unknowns..i wore a strapless short light brown dress.. and i have to say i had to keep pulling it up.. i felt a little self concious really..

we drove round e corner, my cousin's home is located quite near e church.. and there we had e tea ceremony.. it was a little crowded in e house.. and so me, biondi, my sis and charlene huddled at a corner and gossiped abt ppl's outfits and what they represent.. it was fun entertainment.. considering e house was a little stuffy and boring.

den later i get to collect ang pows.. because i helped out at e wedding..gd way to make my day.. hehe...well.. i'm having a gd beauty rest now.. should be getting up my fat butt to go change into my gown for e wedding banquet tonight..i need lotsa time to get my hair done. as its curly nw.. and i wanna make it str8 again..this time a dark brown full length gown.. hehe..getting dressed up is great fun..ok i better hurry.. i need to get there early to what my cousin puts it as "ushering mama's auntie friends to get to their respective tables." hahaha..this really is no joke.. there would be over 900 guests...overwhelming eh??
